Saudi Arabia and the Republic of India are the busiest routes and the most high-volume air corridors in the world. This is a route of millions of passengers who travel from this route every year for economic ambition, familial ties, and deep-seated spiritual journeys. And a dedicated Saudi low-cost option is well suited for everyone.
From July 1, 2026, Flyadeal will start to work with India; many non-stop scheduled services that are connecting the Saudi capital of Riyadh and Hyderabad are stepping in. This announcement can be good news for the everyday traveler because of highly competitive fares, increased capacity, and modern comfort for the millions who rely on this bridge.
Why did Flyadeal choose Hyderabad?
Choosing Hyderabad as its Indian destination is not random. Because in southern India, Hyderabad is the vast Cyber Hub and well established Aerospace sector.
We can also call it “Cyberabad“, as it is a glittering global technology hub hosting some of the world’s biggest IT and innovation giants. On the other hand, it is a deeply rooted aerospace sector and it has ties with the Arabian Peninsula.
Initially, the city and its surrounding regions are the temporary homes of a massive migrated population currently residing in the Gulf. By landing in Hyderabad, flyadeal is strategically positioning itself at the gateway of an underserved, high-demand market that is seeking the best route to visit their homes frequently.
Sanjiv Kapoor, Acting CEO of flyadeal and Executive Vice President of Strategies at Saudia Group stated that “India has been a long-awaited addition to flyadeal’s growing network of international destinations. Hyderabad is the first step of our planned expansion into India, fueled by the strong economic, social, and cultural ties that India and Saudi Arabia have enjoyed for decades.”
Kapoor also stated that this is just the opening salvo: a second Indian destination is already on the horizon and will be announced in the near future. That is a clear message that Flyadeal is also planning to connect with other well-popular Indian cities.
From Planning to Execution
It will be the flyadeal’s first scheduled passenger services to India, but the airline is not a complete stranger to Indian subcontinental skies. Over the past three years, the budget carrier operated the specialized and pilgrim-only charter flights during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, carrying the faithful passengers from the selected Indian cities to the holy sites of Islam towards where they are designated.
However, moving from seasonal flights to a permanent, daily scheduled operation is a massive decision. There are currently an estimated 2.5 to 2.7 million Indian professionals who are living and working throughout Saudi Arabia. For these residents, traveling back home to see family, celebrate holidays, and again tend to business after it has often meant navigating a long route and such a big task to achieve just because of the miles of distance.
The travelers from India can book Flyadeal’s daily non-stop flights from Riyadh to Hyderabad if they don’t want to compromise on their quality and budget. They are the main targets of Flyadeal in India. The sale of tickets are out officially and they are available on the airline’s website, mobile application and authorized global travel agencies.
The schedule is set up perfectly to make the most of your time:
